Far from the greatest picture but damn sure one of the greatest moments in the history of the sport. As a Lightning fan it was special watching Dave Andreychuk lift the Cup after waiting so long too but there was just something special about seeing Ray do it.

June 15, 2001, thousands of Bruins fans saluted Ray at Boston City Hall for winning the Cup in Colorado. It had been 15 years since any of the Boston teams won anything and the future didn't look promising. Little did we know what the next 10 years and counting would be like as a Boston sports fan.


The Bruins winning the Cup in Vancouver will always be special. It was the FIRST time in team history that they had ever won a Game 7 on the road in any playoff series.
