I don’t begrudge them losing to that team, but losing like that to that team should be unacceptable

Idk if he's fight through an injury or if it's his confidence but Sammy has not looked like himself the last 10 games.
Carolina is a hell of a hockey team. I got them winning the cup but I do love that this team doesn't give up and were competitive.
Our young team played 13 games in what 24 days? Have the boys rest up and come back from the break hungry

Good:
- Felt like the Sabres had plenty of high danger chances. Olofsson had two shots graze the goalie and just miss. Quinn had a wide open net and missed (or just a piece of the blocker). Tuch hit the post late. In their surge at the end of the second and beginning of the third there were plenty of chances that go in some nights.
- Tuch plays the perfect game to break through the Hurricane’s interference BS. Fast, huge, and North-South. He just skates right through it.
Bad:
- There are some teams in this league you can’t get down against and the Hurricanes are one of them. They immediately lock it down.
Ugly;
- We got the wrong refs for facing a team like the Canes. They swallowed their whistles pretty much the entire night.
- Ice was terrible. Puck was bouncing, people were falling, goalies were slipping and dropping sticks. Did Disney on Ice mess it up?
- Reverse Retros

That's a Cup Contender they played tonight and they are without Max P!
Carolina played us well and had us scouted perfectly. Sabres were making the same mistakes they been making recently. Donnie and staff have to clean that all up when they come back in a week.
Hope Tage is ok, nobody to fill that role even close
Seemed to be sleep walking through the 1st, perhaps vacation and holiday on the mind too much
They stink it up at home, why ? Have to fix that
See you all in 10 days unless there is a big trade. Off for vacation ourselves

There is some chicken-or-the-egg thinking there. It's hard to get fans to come back when they are not good at home so often.
Our ice does suck. The attendance thing, yeah thsts something i guess maybe... but the ice surface at Key has sucked for a long time.
U: my two games this year (I live in Toronto) were this one, and the Eichel hat-trick game. I’ll stop going for everyone’s sake
