Umm, I'm pretty sure I got the 50th overall pick, in a deal for Bret Hedican. When did you make the deal to get the 50th pick?

i'm not in this but the 50th overall was from Calgary in exchange for Nilson IIRC
and 53 was traded by dallas for Bure, the compensatory pick for Hatcher

Oh yeah, the compensatory picks make the draft order different. My mistake. The way I figure it, the commissioner is allowed a brain fart every now and again. The Cats do indeed have the 50th overall pick.

I have Columbus's 2nd rounder, as well as Phoenix's Danrik...

oh no :amazed: I didnt own a second rounder, dallas has mine. I'll have to give him some sort of compensation, seeing as it's a pretty high one. Sry for my sloppiness.

and I acquired the 33rd pick, and traded it to vancouver, so it's not washingtons.

Huh? You don't have a second round pick, and now you do? What's going on here!?! It sounds like you traded your second to Dallas, and acquired Washington's second round pick then traded it to Vancouver. Is that what you're saying, because I'm not sure.

I think he's saying he traded me a 2nd rounder that he never had. :deadhorse In that case, the trade should be void :teach:.

ANA doesn't own a 4th rounder either...

in a PM you sent me you stated that if there is no ANA 4th pick available that I will get COL's 3rd, since ANA has no 4th I'm taking COL's 3rd (72nd overall) pick.

Nope, you get Anaheim's 4th rounder. It was acquired by Colorado along with Kurt Sauer for Martin Skoula.

why?
I was dealt COL's 4th... not ANA's

the deal was:
TO PIT - Forsberg, Selanne, 4th rounder
TO COL - Belle, Talbot, Morozov, Chiodo

I have been sifting through a lot of Free agent offers and the players will be making decisions within 3-4 days as to where they are going. The following have offers:

Jason Wiemer (2)
Mark Recchi (4)
RJ Umberger
Teppo Numminen (2)
Tommy Salo
Dan McGillis (3)
Alex Khavanov (2)
Brett Hull (4)
Mike Knuble (3)
Tom Kostopoulous
Jiri Bicek

Jozef Stumpel
Jaroslav Modry
Steve Poapst
Mikael Nylander
Keith Primeau (3)

Scott Young
Curtis Leschyshyn
Lubomir Sekeres
Aaron Rome
Dominik Hasek
Martin Rucinsky

If you are interested in any of these players, do not hesitate to get your offers in. These players will be signed by Thursday unless bidding picks up.

Would you like to know what the leading bid is for the players with multiple offers in this thread or would you like me to PM the team with the leading bid or the teams with the lower bids?

Svoboda was traded to Detroit and signed, sorry that the list isn't accurate. Primeau has also been re-signed.

MacDaddy, could you PM those who have made offers to players, and tell them whether or not they have a chance at getting them or whatever. At this point, I have no idea what the players think of the offers I've made.

Nylander was also signed. I better just fix up the list. Will the work ever end?

I know it's hard for a Leaf fan to come to terms to, but Primeau re-signed with the Flyers ;)

just for the record, this Leaf fan (and GM of TOR) did not offer Primeau a contract - not only cuz he was re-signed by PHI also cuz I have no interest/need for Primeau on this team :D

He re-signed with the Flyers for what they offered him in real life a couple days ago, but of course the stupid commish forgot to update the free agent list. All offers should therefore be void (unless gkj wants to try and get tampering charges ;) ).
