Sure. And macaroni and cheese usually has a fluorescent orange ersatz cheese powder. You could use a delicious blend of fresh cheeses instead.

The popular recipe isn't often the best one.

Frozen peas are not better though. They are way worse. Taste weird and not mushy enough.

Adding velveeta to mac and cheese is awesome, however. I add about 125g of it to mine on Monday and it made it really creamy, even when microwaving leftovers at work.

That's interesting. I see that it the other way, with frozen being much closer to the fresh product, which in my mind is superior.

I trust the frozen version and it's easy to see the freshness, a can? who knows what rot is actually in there.
Had a tour of a tomato canning plants operation and it was a rude awakening.
