Batherson’s development curve has been pointed straight up since he was drafted. He’s going to be one of the NHL’s premier goal scorers - if not before, certainly now that he’s showing great chemistry with Stutzle.

Norris, Batherson, Tkachuk, Stutzle

That's not a bad young group of forwards. White is rebounding well and Nick Paul looks good too.

Just need Logan Brown to turn it around a bit and it is starting to look pretty good.

They also have Formenton coming.

Not sure what his ceiling is. He's a better playmaker than scorer imo.

Kid is fun to watch.

He now has goals in 6 straight games (Ties an Ottawa Senators record). Senators fans have known how good he is for years now and have been waiting for for him to take that next step.
Looks like he’s found he’s found it this year and looks amazing.
4th round pick btw.

I picked him up in all 3 of my fantasy league after hearing Crosby, mackinnon and Marchand gush about how good he was going to be since they practice together in the offseasons

Ottawa needs to get a guy like David Savard in the off season to partner with Chabot for 25 minutes per night. Insulate their young stud D-man with a vet, in his prime, on a 4-5 year deal.

Let Anisimov, Stepan, Reilly and Coburn walk in the off season, or trade any of the retained if possible at the deadline for assets. Move Tierney and Gudbranson, Dadonov in the coming seasons (again, retained if need be). Extend Tkachuk and Batherson, continue to draft well and add one more quality defenseman in free agency along with Savard. 2-3 years from now this could be a really quality team if Murray plays like he's capable.

Bright future ahead for Ottawa.

The funny thing is that he’s actually a much better play maker than he is a goal scorer.

Seems he's scoring 5 on 5 a little more, 5 ESG vs 2 PPG but he's collecting assists on the PP as well with 6.
8 PP points vs 7 ESP.

Still entering his prime at 22 years old.

Was checking Stutzs' stats as well and he's doing good as well despite OTT's record.
Silver linings for OTT fans, they will be better and think they're way ahead of DET in their rebuild

Oh he’s going to be a good one, he’s noticeable every time he hits the ice. I like the way Ottawa has developed him and it has paid off.

Love ottawas young players. The team can be exciting, which is awesome to watch esp for a rebuilding team.

His goals tonight don't count because they were scored against Calgary (I think that's how it works right?)
