So I'm really missing Josh Leivo on the roster.
He should be back late March, is it?

Yeah he's kind of the forgotten guy now but I think he'd slot in real nicely on the 3rd line with Gaudette and Roussel.

Roussel - Gaudette - Leivo
Eriksson - Beagle - Sutter

One of these days Elias is going to get hit with a cheap/dirty play that will cause him to miss significant time.

He’s already got a concussion on his record and now two lower body injuries which may or may not be related.

The team isn’t doing enough to protect him. We’re honesty lucky that he’s only missed a handful of games so far with how dangerous some of these plays have looked.

The last thing we need is our franchise player ending up with some kind of lingering or re-occurring issue that impacts his ability to play at his highest level.

There's only so many times we can get lucky though. These dangerous plays directed towards our franchise player need to stop. And the team needs to be the one who stops it, because it keeps happening and the league isn't going to do anything about it.

The next time it could be something very serious.

Ferland has been skating for a while now but there is uncertainty on why he hasnt been sent to Utica yet for conditioning stint. Not sure if there was a setback or if its a scheduling thing with Utica since they had mid week games this week.

Leivo- busted kneecap, 8-12 weeks on Dec 21. That puts him on a timeline of Late Frebruary- Middle March return

Motte- seperated shoulder 4-6 weeks. Middle March return
