Janssen on waivers. Thank goodness. No goons! The Devils have too much depth to waste a spot on a goon.

Ah Cammer. He's such a team-first guy who gives it his all, so it's tough to see him on waivers. The big oaf will always have a soft spot in my heart.

Urbom claimed off of waivers by Caps. Still can't get over some of the roster decisions this year.

I'm VERY disappointed in these roster choices. I was very excited about the team at the onset of pre-season, after the solid play of the VunderTvins, Gelinas, and others, only to see them stuck behind mediocrity (at best) in Gionta, Harrold, etc.

Gionta with his 30% Faceoffs, Urbom lost for nothing, Fayne benched, strange out of position line combos, Marty missing the opening game, etc. Then of course the sadness of Denis' passing.

I hope they win, but it's kinda :whatever:

Marty missing the opening game lowers our chances of winning?

Yeah I was like  when I saw that, too.

If anything, Cory raises the Devils chances of sh......err, I don't want to jinx it so I'll just say he raises the Devils chances at winning in convincing fashion.

Why do people think I was saying that? If anything Cory should be playing a majority of the games (50+). I simply wanted Marty's streak to continue in this, his (most likely) final season. Nothing more.

Sorry for the confusion, and yes I agree about Cory being the starter. It will probably need to happen for us to stay competitive.

I just didn't get what you meant originally.

And you're not alone, BleedRed.

I misunderstood what he was alluding to in his post also.

On behalf of...well....myself, I apologize to nugg and bow to his greatness. ;)

I hope that the loss of Urbom makes Lou send down Gio when they decide to take Tedenby off. No sense in loosing another young prospect to waivers over Gio

Listening to the caps game last night they were down to 5 dmen and said Urbom will travel and skate with the team today and should be in the lineup soon.

Prepare for Dec. 21st.

I believe if a player gets claimed off waivers he has to be in the lineup and can't be sent down for a certain amount of games/time
