all opinions may count the same quantity wise, but they certainly do not have the same weighting. The scales may look crowded on one side but...

Hey, why do generators and bottled water cost so much after a disaster? Why do toys fetch 10x their price tag at christmas on Ebay? Aren't they all the same? Supply and Demand is a funny thing.

I feel smarter after reading this post. Thank you sir. ;)

BTW, here's a question for you also : Why do Hot Dogs come 10 to a pack when buns come 8 to a pack? There are two buns missing. :sarcasm:

Anyway, I hope Travis can get his offense back on-track. God knows we need him to score a bit more than he did last season.

I don't even think most coaches do make it mandatory that righties play on right wing, and lefties on left wing.

I like how there's all this back and forth even entertaining the idea of trading Zajac when he has a no trade clause. Kinda makes this thread pointless.

And if you were to ever give a player a mulligan after a poor season, last season would be the season. No training camp, shortened season, long layoff, etc. are pretty valid reasons for dips in production.

Apparently it's not a law of hockey when 95% of the league practices it and every single junior and world association have coaches who enact it in terms of the handedness of the stick.

I'd like to be taught more about hockey.

You're buying the wrong packages of hot dogs. There's your problem.

I know "u" don't, Lou did.

again, would you rather Zajac was making that contract on another etam and we got no compensation? whatever Lou does you people will cry about. Zajac needed to be retained at all costs, and he was. thats what you should care about. we are not going to be a cap team so complaining about the money (especially when he has played ZERO games under the new contract) is pointless. thats what it took to keep him.

Like I said, we should all cross our fingers.

The only trade I could possibly entertain a trade regarding Zajac is if we managed to package him with Urbom for the 3rd overall pick. (I know it would never happen) Otherwise trading Zajac is not the way this team needs to go. Drafting Drouin is my pipe dream.

Whoaaaaa I leave for a few days and miss all the fun threads!

No one is taking that contract.

Sadly, this is almost certainly true thanks to the season that shall not be named, his injury, and then a god damned lockout. His stats the last 3 years really do look awful. Didn't stop him from playing

Zajac is better than all those guys.

That's pretty debatable regarding Grabovski and Stastny. Both are excellent possession drivers that seem that are pretty consistently underrated around the league, but then so is Zajac. I'd take all of them on my team happily.

I hear Lecavalier's available now...just throwing it out there! :sarcasm:

To be honest, he'd probably be a lot of help on offense. He's been at a pretty consistent 60+ point pace for the past three seasons, but he's a little injury prone. He's also not great defensively, but the Devils have enough defense and could REALLY use help with scoring. If he could be had for a relatively cheap price, I'd take him.
