Since my other fantasy league did not work, as there was lost of interest, I'm going to work on another project where I'm sure there will have absulutely no chance of losing interest; The Board To Board Mock.

First Part:
For the first part, I'll post a poll on each of the 30 teams forum here on HFBoard, including the most valuable signed players from the respective team (teams are keeping all their unsigned prospect). Fans from each teams will have to vote 3 players from this list (I'll take the 3 players with the most vote), wich they will keep as their franchise players. All the other signed players will go in the Innitial Draft.

Second Part:
The Innitial Draft. Pretty simple, I'll make a list of all the players wich are available, and I'll go board-to-board posting a message with this list on it. Fans from each team will then have approx 6 hours to choose who they want as their pick. This will be a reverse draft, and the order will be decided with last year's Goals-For Standings (The team will the highest goals scored last year will draft first..).

Draft Order:
01. Ottawa
02. Detroit
03. Tampa Bay
04. Toronto
05. Islanders
06. Colorado
07. Vancouver
08. Philadelphia
09. Edmonton
10. Buffalo
11. San Jose
12. Nashville
13. Atlanta
14. New Jersey
15. Boston
16. Montreal
17. Rangers
18. Los Angeles
19. Calgary
20. Dallas
21. Saint-Louis
22. Pittsburgh
23. Florida
24. Minnesota
25. Phoenix
26. Chicago
27. Washington
28. Anaheim
29. Columbus
30. Carolina

All polls are going pretty well, I'm an happy men :) ..

The Draft will begin either tomorrow or the day after. I'll go on the team's board that are supose to picking, start a thread, and fans from each team will have to say who they draft.

Players Available:
Every players that are signed by an NHL club, RFA and UFA can be drafted (Ilya Kovalchuk Jason Allison etc.. are available). Unsigned prospect are still property of their respective team. So if Jeff Carter gets sign in real life, we'll place him on the Flyers' roster. Players who were picked to be Franchise Players cannot be drafted.

There will be 22 rounds of drafting. The only restriction you've got is that you got to have atleast 2 goalies.

At the end, your team will have 25 players (with at least 2 goalies), that will compose your roster. Then each board will name ONE GM, who will be the head GM for this team. All the other posters will be his AGMs. GM will be able to send trade proposals via PM to the other head GMs. A team's head GM should always start a thread to talk with his AGMs about what's going on. For exemple if I i receive a trade proposal that is Ryder for Raycroft, I'm going to start a thread on my team's board and ask opinions on what I should do. The GM will be named after the draft is done.

If anyone has any question please feel free to post. :)

I like the looks of this mock draft, should be interesting to watch it unfold. I wish you would have let each team keep four players though, and the only other question I had was why did you include prospects that haven't played an NHL game in the poll?

With only 3 players to choose from, it leaves a lot of good player available in the draft, players like Satan, Gomez, Zednik, Blake, Gonchar, Samsonov, Leopold, Cole, Nylander, Holik, Zubrus, Halpern etc.... this will be very interesting.

I included players that had a contract with an NHL club. Weither the players were playing in the CHL, AHL, NHL, Europe it didn't matter, as long as they was signed by their NHL club.

Why do the top scoring teams pick first? That doesnt make any sense to me.

Anyway looks interesting.

Because they are the one who gives up the most. Ottawa gives up Alfredsson, Hasek, Havlat, White, Redden etc while Carolina gives up Cole, Vrbata, Hedican......

That's why they pick first.
