Could someone please explain the Ovechkin zone entry strategy to me?
- stand with his back to the board on the offensive blue line;
- 19/77 skate with the puck;
- pass to AO;
- turnover.

Never once it worked. No wonder our $10M player isn't even PPG.

10 points up on 2nd in the East. Dominated the habs, guys like Wilson/Beagle/Chimmi/NSchmit stepping up in games where the 1/2nd line don't score? Hard to find things to complain about.

Also with guys like Wilson/Beagle coming on, Brooks is more and more expendable.

Absolutely the kid can play. And he can play a variety of styles. He is also only 21. Lots of time to develop more offensive skills.

Brooks entered the year expendable because of his cap hit. If he can be traded to fill another hole and give cap relief then you have to seriously consider moving him.
