Anybody watching The Mandalorian? Looks like it's getting back to the original Star Wars I grew up with. Hope it keeps getting better. Gonna watch episode 3 now.

I have spoken.

It's alright. They are clearly just copying western movie tropes and are a little scared of too much talking, given how wide of an audience they are targeting.

Still, it's nice to just see the SW universe executed at a high level and not have it be all about Jedi and whatnot. Grime is good.

Although lowest grossing SW movie, I also like Solo. Prefer it over the Last Jedi.

So far I like the Mandalorian better than any of the Star Wars made in the last twenty years (or whenever Ep1 came out). I really did not like 1-3 at all. Of the new ones, I liked Rogue One the best. I thought that was actually a pretty good movie. Solo was 2nd for my. The other two I didn’t much like (the ones that were part of the main thread or whatever).

I like Star Wars. But I’m not a fan. I’m not “into” Star Wars but I’ve seen the originals a handful of times each and like them. I’ve seen all of the movies and like a couple of the newer ones. Mainly Rogue One.

Love The Mandalorian. First Star Wars property that I can think of that uses the universe for something other than Skywalkers or Solos, and that's a huge plus in my book.

Only thing I loved about Solo was Emilia Clarke, but that's because I have a platonic crush on her.

Rogue One was really good.

The prequels sucked swamp butt.

The Force Awakens was a crass fanfic-level cash-in.

I loved The Last Jedi's subversion of Abrams' puzzle boxing but as a movie it had too many narrative conveniences in service of the plot.

Pretty much resigned to The Rise of Skywalker sucking a giant bowl of bile porridge.

NHL.com's selection of hats sucks these days.
Back 4 years or so ago Zephyr hats had the license and they were much better. Fanatics only has ONE curved fitted Coyotes hat and Fanatics hats suck anyway. Guess I'll just get some blanks or something, all my old Coyotes hats are in pretty rough shape.

It was contrived and generally bad. The “I’m not paying for that f***ing laptop” condition really got me though. Definitely laughed my ass off there. Good content. Enjoyed it.

I'm basically waiting until we launch the Kachina product line.

Anybody know where I can grab those nice looking jackets the players sometimes wear around the rink? Not the track ones.

Honestly, I am kind of expecting to get Rick-Rolled on the last movie and wait so long to get... a 2 hour porno based off of Star Wars.

Think about it - the title "Rise of Skywalker" is certainly a clue :sarcasm:

Here's a tip, one of the companies that makes Coyotes jackets is Antigua and their factory outlet is right here in Peoria. I've gotten some super cheap Coyotes stuff there in the past, including a pretty nice jacket.

They also make shirts and such for many teams and not just in the NHL, so there's almost always something there.

Super excited for The Mandalorian. Too bad I won't be able to watch it until march 2020 (if I'm lucky). I think It's a giant misstep by disney to release a series this big and only have it available in a few countries. I have to stay away from the internet to not have stuff being spoiled in some way or the other... Or... Piracy.

icefilms.info. All I use to watch stuff. I've used the site when on vacation in the Philippines so hopefully it works in your country too.

Nice. I'm curious about how many GRA ticket holders will use the new road. Could be a game changer for some.

I have to drive 5 miles south to get to the I-10/202 interchange, so I'll keep plowing through the city. Even so, the relief on 10 westbound should be significant. Maybe even more significant is the added lanes. Granted it was a Sunday game, but I-10 between 35th and 75th felt like US 60 through Mesa.

I'll have to drive 4 miles south to reach the 101/202 interchange (Price/San Tan) from work, so on weekdays no question I'll use it. I'm sure the 10/17/10 will get a little better, but there'll still be plenty of stop/start make no mistake. On weekends (I live at Chandler Blvd) I'll use it until I start getting nostalgic, and maybe go through the city occasionally if the traffic is light as normal on wkends.

I'm kinda worried how it will impact traffic at 67th ave to the 101, that's where it used to open up.

I don't care about the environment, but I hate heaters. The air is so gross. I hate the feeling of it. I also love sweaters. Hockey, whiskey and sweaters are like my top three.

I'm the same way. The heater doesn't feel natural to me. When I was growing up, we had a fire place. That was nice on a cold evening. Kind of wish I had one but I'm sure I'd get tired of lugging the wood in and cleaning it. I only use the heater if I'm sick or in the morning when I take a shower before work and that's only when it gets really cold. I'm still running my fans all night right now. At least a month away from needing any heat.
