Honestly - I wonder if it might be partially because he's so used to getting into the crease and pushed around, having two big bodies to back him up makes him feel his nuts again.

This and it's probably another boost for him knowing he is the most skilled guy on the line. He's just looking to make plays and not worried about deferring to anyone..
