Finland against Canada:

25 Toni Rajala – 5 Arttu Ilomäki – 19 Veli-Matti Savinainen
4 Mikko Lehtonen – 55 Atte Ohtamaa

(Sidenote: I love that Mikko Lehtonen is such a common name, that this is the second Mikko Lehtonen to play defense at the Worlds since 2009. In the same time frame, a third Mikko Lehtonen of course played forward for Boston and Providence.)

82 Harri Pesonen – 65 Sakari Manninen – 24 Kaapo Kakko
40 Petteri Lindbohm – 28 Henri Jokiharju

41 Joel Kiviranta – 27 Eetu Luostarinen - 20 Niko Ojamäki
70 Niko Mikkola – 7 Oliwer Kaski

76 Jere Sallinen – 91 Juho Lammikko – 12 Marko Anttila
50 Miika Koivisto – 58 Jani Hakanpää

30 Kevin Lankinen
(35 Veini Vehviläinen).

Canada don't seem to be up to much when we aren't lending them a starting line-up.

Ed - I posted the above before realising Kyle Turris was their captain. May as well go home now.

Apparently Finland's forward lines are

Toni Rajala - Arttu Ilomäki - Veli-Matti Savinainen
Harri Pesonen - Sakari Manninen - Kaapo Kakko
Joel Kiviranta - Eetu Luostarinen - Niko Ojamäki
Jere Sallinen - Juho Lammikko - Marko Anttila.

I'm EXCITED, guys!
Well, everyone knew they'd at least beat Canada.

It wouldn't be the worst thing if Makar just chilled for a bit. He has played a lot of hockey this season.

Barrie, as long as he agrees to no drunk midnight wrestling (not the fun kind :naughty:), or Girard could go.

If Makar said no to WC after saying no to the Olympics last year, I can imagine he won't be too popular with Team Canada.

Eh, he'll need to get use to long seasons. Overall, he's only played 51 games this season.

It would be perfect timing if he went, light it up on Team Canada, have a week or two to chill while Mack recovers, than head out and train with him and Crosby.
