Sullivan reminding me a lot of Cooper right now. Seems like he's not letting his guys play as loose as he did before, and you can see it in their play. Very lucky to be up 2-0.

And lol at pens are better off without him, he's pretty good defensively though not elite.

hmm, in my opinion, Letang doesn't even crack the top 15. He gets talked about a lot and is touted as Pens #1 D man, but he doesn't perform as a #1 D man. He is rarely used against the top guys on teams too. He also makes a metric ass load of mistakes (hence why the Pens are better without him). His shot % is trash, he is slow, and small.

Ironically they're playing like us last year. They were flat out dominated the first game but cashed in on the few chances they got. Same with the 2nd and 3rd period of last nights game.

The pens last year were way better, but the Western teams just don't match up well against them for some reason.

You have to cash in while you have them on the ropes. They have so much fire power and you can't have any d zone **** ups, as the start of the third period in game 2 showed us. They look very vulnerable, but Nashville hasn't been able to pot enough goals during those times.

2. his defensive shortcomings are blown WAY out of proportion
3. a bad shot % is a sign of bad luck
4. he isn't slow lol

I think the thing that bugs me the most about Sullivan is how often he berates the officials. Literally after every call against, it's getting ridiculous considering the clearly lopsided officiating going on (in his favor). Not hard to tell he's a Torts protege.

You see more life in a tomb when the Lightning are down 2-1 with 8 minutes to go in the 3rd and just came on the power play. We have great fan support but I'll be damned if any of those people know what support is. Fastest way to get told "SIT DOWN YOU'RE BLOCKING IT" is to stand on your feet and say, "Let them hear you come on. All together now Let's go Lightning!"

They definitely don't like it when you say, "We're not in your living room! We're at the game! Make some noise will ya?!"

It really is. Being at home really helps the Penguins here but if the Preds can steal a game in Pittsburgh I think they'll win the Cup.
