I'd think Duchene alone would cost way more than that.I wonder what the return might be for Duchene and Varlamov if interrested?
Domingue, Rieder and a defense prospect?

Coyotes finish with 97 points and finish second in the Pacific. Keller scores 33 goals to go along with 45 assists to take home the Calder. Coyotes make it to the Western Conference Finals and lose in 7 to the Perds.
PREDICITION
First forward to score : Martinook
First Defenseman to score : Demers
First rookie to score : Fischer
I agree about Domi (min 75 gp). I think that might mean Keller hits 60 too, if not 70....The results won't really be there in the standings yet but the on ice product will noticeably improve and the fan base will finally start having hope again. I think they'll finish in the 8-12 range and pick there as well (there is no such thing as draft good luck for the Coyotes). Assuming the arena situation doesn't **** it up (a big assumption), I think we all head into the off season feeling extremely optimistic about the 18-19 season!
Oh and if he stays healthy, Domi is going to crack 60pts, I guarantee it.
I'm still on a high from the Demers trade... mark me down for 89 points!
3. Duclair: 18g 22a 40p
4. Keller: 16g 24a 40p
Bold moves by Barroway calls for bold predictions.
OEL wins the Norris
Keller scores 40 goals and gets 90+ points to win the Calder
Win the 2nd division title in franchise history, win the 1st Western Conference Championship, and become the 3rd straight sunbelt team to be denied its 1st cup by Pittsburgh in 6 games.
Note: If the Coyotes do win their 1st cup this season, remember this post as the reverse jinx post.
Well, if I change it to starting slow for the first 3 quarters instead of 1 quarter, and stay in the hunt for the playoffs to in the hunt for not last place, I was 100% correct.Honestly I have no ****ing idea. I think we start slow, and pick up heavily after the first quarter of the season. I think we stay in the hunt but miss the playoffs. There's so much uncertainty though, I could see a bottom 5 or playoff finish too. Regardless I'm super pumped, I'm probably going to get another 10 game flex pack halfway through the season since I've used like 7 already.
Team results prediction is...okay.Team Results
We've had a full blown leadership and coaching turnover. The roster is going to be extremely young and inexperienced. I think we will struggle hard out of the gate and eventually get our act together and finish strong. I think we will choose to sit on our hands at the deadline, citing our progress and we will be rewarded with a great finish and a ton of hope for next season. Something like:
First 21gp - 5-13-3
Next 20gp - 8-11-1
Next 20gp - 10-8-2
Final 21gp - 15-4-2
1st Half: 13-24-4 (26-48-8 - 60pt pace)
2nd Half: 25-12-4 (50-24-8 - 108pt pace)
Full Season: 38-36-8 - 84pts
We FINALLY get some lottery luck and move from 9th to the top 3.

I'm just glad that we're not going to pick 12th, no matter what happens in the lottery...
I have proven I can't predict the future, tough business to be in Can I move my 80 point minimum maybe 90+ points to next year? I was a year early....It is too hard to predict at this point, too many changes and we need 20 points more than last year to likely get in. That is a tough hill for any team, so odds are against us.
The Good news:
We have the best 6D we have had since the WCF run, and all vets except for Chych. If we stay healthy, the D should be very good. Stepan is better than Hanzal and we get him for a full year.
The bad news: Verby and his production is gone. I know you guys hate Smith but he played well last year, kept us away from Colorado point wise.
The unknown: Does Raantta play as well as he did last year, and or as good or better than smith? And does LD play well as a back up or if he gets more time? What kind of year Strome/Keller/Duclair/Domi/Perlini/crouse/fischer have? We likely get a few standouts and a few missing expectations. Is Tocc a good head coach, better than Tip, maybe, maybe not? I hope he is, I'm rooting for him, but we just don't know yet how he will work out.
It could be a year of growing pains but because of our better D, I see us at 80 points minimum. If things went really well, I could see 90+ points and in the playoff hunt last 10 games.
Trades down to 12

I predict that the Coyotes will do the opposite of what I predict, therefore I predict nothing, except I already have. What this means in practice is that they will either do something, or do nothing.
