I can understand other defensemen getting more minutes than OEL, but scratched in favor of Jonathan Ericsson, really? That second Canada goal was 100 percent on Ericsson's ill-advised offensive rush.

The Canadian defense is just too good, and teams in the future are going to need to get more speed to play against them...and all of their forwards backchecked like fireants, including Nash which tells you something.

Hagelin's line in the 1st period was the only line putting up a push. Same with Kessel from the Americans during their game.

The Americans could have used Yandle's speed that is for sure. They didn't have any burners on the back end besides Fowler.

I watched on the CBC web feed. It had varying quality. Was good quality for most of the game and then went to "graphing calculator" quality in the last minute or so and stayed that way until halfway through the Canadian team being presented their gold medals.
