The 2014-2015 6 in 5 thread.

Welcome to the 4th annual 6 in 5 thread. What is that you say? Well, the history is back in the 90s a coach who will go nameless broke the season down into 5 game sets. Every time the team got 6 points in 5 games they got th next day off. they went on to win the cup.

Here we use it so we dont panic game in game out. Terrible loss? GDT going nuts? take a deep breath, come here and comment knowing 1 game a season dont make.

No i think its very fair. If we want to make the playoffs thats the pace we will need.

And i too will hate a loss vs devils...

The preseason sucked. Hopefully not conclusive, and a win will start a roll...

With all the new faces and line mixing I hope they can go around .500 up til Christmas. After that expecting steady improvement.

I agree that we need points early on. We're also going to need Luongo to start better than he normally does. Throughout his career, Luongo tends to be a guy who gets better as the season progresses, but he needs to be himself from the start. I think he's going to have to steal some games with how subpar our defense is.

I think he's going to have to steal some games with how subpar our defense is.

He wasn't as bad as Vokoun imo.
