As a secondary consideration if you had to choose trade Campbell or trade Oleksiak to bring in a defender, which would you choose?

If Heika was correct in chat, seems doubtful the team has interest in trading Campbell. He mentioned they were very high on him.

Would seem if you were adding a D, and it was good one, Oleksiak is the way to go because Dillon should be off limits.

Personally, I'd be fine with Campbell though. I'd prefer him actually. I still really like the guy, but I'm confident that Kari is good enough for right now. If you can turn Campbell into a Top 2/3 D ... do it.

If his brother wasn't a hockey player, would he even be playing above ECHL right now? It's insane that he became an NHL player, and a pretty good one at that. I'd say he's played at least like a solid #4.

You guys were far too harsh on him

Daley was the easiest projection to make and we nailed it, sorta. He filled his usual 25 point quota but did so in fewer games than normal (67/68).

Ruff said in the DMN that Daley's been great for the last 40 games and I have to agree. I'm not sure if it was him feeling more comfortable with the new coaching staff and players or what, but Daley turned his game up during the second half of the season. His offense picked up as well and came at some really big moments.

After the big 3 of Benn, Seguin and Lehtonen, Daley was easily the next most valuable.

I have no issue with Daley, Goligoski, or Dillon as long as no combination of them is paired together just because those three were making the same mistakes that drove me nuts all season (Dillon moreso during the last stretch, so maybe his was just fatigue).
