I seriously doubt DeBrusk is left unprotected. The following are locks to be protected (assuming they go with 7F/3D versus 8F/D):

Bergeron
Marchand
Pastrnak
Coyle
DeBrusk

McAvoy
Carlo

Krejci and Rask are both UFAs in 2021, so you could just leave them unprotected with the idea of signing them in free agency.
