The oilers must be close but I know they are at least missing the Calder. Which is funny because they had Gretzky and mcdavid. But maybe they are missing quite a few.

Iginla had the most goals and points and was an absolute beast, even if he wasn't #1 he should have been at least 5th place on every ballot.

https://thehockeywriters.com/flames-jarome-iginla-2002-hart-trophy-snub/

Not to discredit Iginla, but he was also fed the puck the last few weeks of the season once the Flames were eliminated, in an attempt to help him secure the Richard and Art Ross Trophies. Theodore was helping drag the Canadiens to the playoffs when there was no one else on the team worthwhile (recall this was the year Koivu had cancer and only played 3 games). Both certainly deserved votes.

And you'll notice that the quote you have says "unconfirmed rumours", which have never been proven, and no one has ever been able to make any progress with that.

Lastly, there were 62 ballots for the Hart Trophy that year. Iginla was on 61 of them (voting: 23+18+12+5+3). Theodore was on 58 (26+16+9+5+2). So I was actually wrong here, Theodore was left of 4 ballots, while Iginla was left off 1. Yet no one accuses Alberta writers of leaving Theodore off their ballots, even though that suggestion is equally valid.

And I will state that I have no real care for either side of this debate, I just find the complaining that Iginla was "robbed" dishonest, and outright misleading.

The Penguins are missing the King Clancy Trophy, Vezina Trophy, and Jennings Trophy.

Tom Barrasso notably won both the Vezina and Jennings trophies, but he was not with the Penguins during then.

Bryan Trottier notably won the King Clancy Trophy right before his time with the Penguins.

Ron Francis notably won the King Clancy Trophy right after his time with the Penguins.

So missing the Selke, Rocket, Art Ross, Jennings, Jack Adams, Messier

Andy Bathgate tied Bobby Hull with 84 points in 1962. But yeah, you guessed it, Hull 'won' it because he had more goals.

It's as good as winning it IMO.

I almost don't want to make a list for the leafs cause it'll be sad since we've been a franchise for 103 years.

Art Ross Trophy: None
Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy: Jason Blake
Calder Memorial Trophy: Syl Apps, Gaye Stewart, Gus Bodnar, Frank Mccool, Howie Meeker, Frank Mahovlich , Dave Keon, Kent Douglas, Brit Selby, Auston Matthews
Conn Smythe Trophy: Dave Keon
Frank J. Selke Trophy: Doug Gilmour
Hart Memorial Trophy: Babe Pratt, Ted Kennedy,
Jack Adams Award: Pat Burns
James Norris Memorial Trophy: None
King Clancy Memorial Trophy: Curtis Joseph
Lady Byng Memorial Trophy: Joe Primeau, Gordie Drillon, Syl Apps, Sid Smith (2x), Red Kelly, Dave Keon (2x), Alexander Mogilny
Mark Messier Leadership Award: Mats Sundin
Maurice Richard Trophy: None
Presidents' Trophy: None, but we have led the league 5x prior to the trophy
Stanley Cup: 13x
Ted Lindsay/Pearson: None
Vezina Trophy: Turk Broda (2x), Al Rollins, Harry Lumley, Johnny Bower (2x) and Terry Sawchuk,
William M. Jennings Trophy: None

-------------------------------------------

No Rocket Winner, but we did have goal scoring leaders prior to the invention of the trophy. Those winners being; Babe Dye (3x), Ace Bailey, Charlie Conacher (5x), Bill Thoms, Gordie Drillon and Gaye Stewart.

No Art Ross Winner, but like the rocket we have some winners prior to the trophy. These winners are; Babe Dye (2x), Ace Bailey, Harvey Jackson, Charlie Conacher (2x) and Gordie Drillon

Trophies technically missing - Art Ross, Norris, Rocket, President's Trophy, Ted Lindsay, William M Jennings.
--
Auston Matthews likely wins a few Rocket Richards. The others won't be won for a while. Maybe an outside shot to Marner for the ross.

A Ranger (Bill Cook) led the NHL in goals twice and points twice - long before the Art Ross and Maurice Richard trophy were created. I'm not too picky about this one - those are statistical trophies, the accomplishment (leading the league in a statistical category) took place regardless of whether a trophy was handed out or not.

Bathgate actually tied for it with Bobby Hull (Art Ross) but lost due to goals.

I think there are probably a retro Ross and Selke with Boucher and Bill Cook but those don't count for this I guess.
