Was disappointed with our energy & grit players last night. down 2-0, 3-0, 4-0 with alot of time to play and we didn't stir the pot at all. Team clearly needed a spark or an injection of emotion.
Related, and i just shared this thought in the PGT. Adams and Goc are a bad 4th line core. Good on the PK, but could none of our less skilled yet responsible forwards not kill penalties? Do other teams keep roster spots on FW for such limited PK specialists?
It was clear last night that our bottom 6, while better, still cannot sustain the flow of a game or have play any real even strength role. I'de rather bring in some younger size and speed, low ceiling guys, but who can have an identity and add some energy.
