But we’ll keep him in Luleå fresh for the World Championships hopefully as a newly-crowned Swedish champion.

Found out today that you can borrow Erik Gustafsson, however. Him and Pudas should make for an excellent top pairing duo. I hope EG succeeds.

Perplexing how Joakim Nygård wasnt picked...He has been Färjestads best player this season, he is fast, and this season he has used his speed just as well defensively as offensively. He recently played in the NHL aswell so he has that experience. Just strange, id take him over quite a few of Swedens forwards.

The reason is simpel. Nygård is never good in the Tre Kronor shirt. EHT is basically Olympics. Garpenlöv have taken out players who done good in EHT. Nygård would not start to play good in OG out of nowhere when he did not do it before in the Tre Kronor jersey.

Also how would Färjestad take that....having 4 of their best forwards gone to OG.

If you’re going for the actual best goalies, I still think Lassinantti is better than Wallstedt at the moment.

Wallstedt is well positioned and has a size advantage. He does however have a tendency to leave a gap between himself and the post, or let goals through the five-hole. Lassinantti makes very few mistakes like that.

At any rate, I wouldn’t count out Enroth for big games just yet. When he’s on, he’s a wall.

Edit: Both are taller than Lassi though. I’m aware his height’s likely the main reason why we’ll be blessed with Lassinantti in Luleå for years to come.

Regardless, right now I feel safer with him over Wallstedt in net.
