I nearly spit out my water when I saw the 5th Yotes were getting back was in 2027.

Well, it's not negative value, but it's pretty close. It's like dumping someone on a date because you found someone else willing to pick up the bill for dinner.

I'm sure Armstrong knew he would get better than maybe a 4th for him.

I watched him play a few nights ago in Arizona.. in person. Not much of a player, but he's playing nothing but meaningless games. So maybe that's the issue.

He was playing meaningful games a couple months back when they were in a wild card spot, and he was the worse defenseman out there. That's saying a lot with the crew he was competing against for a spot in the lineup.

I know Dumba's play has slipped, but has it really slipped this much where he's not even worth a 5th round DP straight up? Haven't watched enough AZ games - but that's flipping brutal.
