This could be the precursor of a new and intense rivalry, similar to the heated rivalries of days gone by. One Phaneuf open ice hit on Matthews and the Ottawa -Toronto rivalry will be reignited like it never has before.
I predict a physical game in order to take away some of the ice from the Toronto wonder kids.

How did that go for the sens when the roles were reversed in the late 90's early 2000's?...

Toronto is not as good as the media is making it sound, yes they are good, yes they have a great offense and are a fast skilled team. They arent that structured, the goaltender is off and on and they are a young hockey team. If Ottawa takes away their time and space and plays a tight game tonight and you will see them get frusterated. They make mistakes and blow assignments, I have watched them alot this year very exciting team its high event hockey. Pageau is going to glued to Matthews hip tonight and is going to make life miserable. Ceci is playing the best hockey of his career and is ready for the assignment.

New Jersey was the perfect team for Ottawa to play before the Leafs, couldnt have prepared them any better. Its gonna be a tight entertaining game, Boucher is going to have the guys prepared I dont often feel like this but tonight I think the sens are going to show up and take the 2 points.

Ah this feels good.
