Tampa Bay
Official petition to make this Jeannot's goal song

We could only be so lucky

No one:

Amalie: "You'll get your shitty pop and music no one has ever heard of but us and YOU'LL LIKE IT!"

---------------------

I'm shocked they don't just blast "Shake it off" by Taylor Swift every time we give up a few goals in short order

Can’t wait to see what he does in Tampa. Hynes kept juggling the forward lines in Nashville, which I think hurt Tanner’s production. He is very good infront of the net and his numbers showed that last year. His handeye for tip-ins was amazing, but he hasn’t had the same chances because the system was different this year. More of a dump and chase, get the puck and cycle it. This took him away from the net. I hope he is put in the right position to succeed now that he’s in Tampa.

I just want to say a good "hopeful" career projection is Coleman for Jeannot.

Coleman:
YearGPGAPts+/-
2016-201723112-7
2017-2018791312257
2018-201978221436-19
2019-2020662111320
2020-20215514173115
2021-20228116173316
2022-20236012162811

Coleman was coming in on 2 20 goal seasons with top 6 minutes in NJ. Great contract for what he brought in. But his one "full" season in Tampa he scored 14 goals. That's probably right around where Jeannot will score in a full season with us. 14-15 goals seems like the reasonable number. 20 being higher end on the third line. After he left, Calgary paid $5M a year for that production and what he brings to the table. Jeannot hopefully is what Coleman brought to the table. If we can sign him long term at $2-$3M AAV, the value is huge for us. Paul - Jeannot long term is a real solid third line with 2 players who can easily jump up into the top 6 and help on the PP and PK.

I am still finding it hard to understand why people are freaking out the magic beans when we are in win now mode and Jeannot is basically getting an NHL'er who has proven he can produce, plays exactly like what made us successful before. The only valid argument I have seen is that we put all our eggs in one basket. I get that, but me, who all of you know is usually doom and gloom, is not looking at this as a bad move at all.

I mean, I can try, but do you really want all that?
To see the flames of Asspocalypse of HFboards from Norway... yeah why not?xD
...we would be getting into the 2050s in draft picks, given it cost 5 of them for jeannot.
Al Muray will rest this draft, so he will get his head cleared and will get us a lot of undrafted talents worldwide so we will survive untill 2050 :)

Is it possible that we gave up too much for a guy with 14 points?

Man oh man, he comes into the first game against the kitty-kats. Way to introduce him into our most despised enemy.
As much a Gary Bettman wants it to be so, I don't think the Panthers are really our most hated rival. Don't get me wrong, they're hated, but it's never developed into something truly fierce IMO. Frankly, they've never been good enough for long enough. Toronto still #1 for me.

Toronto is so overrated as a rivalry. They whine too much also. Some of the most physical hockey games I've seen since the days of Detroit-Colorado and Boston-Philly way back when are the KittyKats against our boys.

And knowing this kid, one of the idiots from Miami will do something stupid to see if they can dance with Jannout.

Great read, BTW. Love it.
