I'm a Suter fan, really wanted him on the B's, but I agree, 4 years would've been too long. Dodged a bullet with that contract, but a top 2/3 LD remains the biggest need. Not sure where one is gonna come from.

Klingberg/Heiskanen/Linell/Hintz/Robertson can trick ya. It is still an interesting blend of talented gets and youngsters that will hopefully set the tone for future kids coming up. Dallas will likely get a major face lift after this upcoming season though.

Suter is doing the right thing by maximizing his career earnings. With the right contract, in a few years he'll have earned enough for him and his family to be financially comfortable.
