Obviously it's not single handedly but Brady got in the way of Mahomes twice now in three years. Chiefs coulda won three in a row and will only have one to show for it. 7-1 is a hell of a lot different than what could have been 5-3.

In this 3-year window they've had, the best team was 2018 and they didn't even make the Superbowl.

The irony is that he went to a Super Team to wind up with a harder playoff run because it took the pieces about 7 weeks to start gelling and they dropped games to New Orleans putting them out of divisional contention fairly early. In New England they were in playoff form by October every year except for last year when he skipped OTAs so they'd wind up with a tomato can and two games in Gillette.

Absolutely. The win in KC still feels underrated to me. It was a tremendous achievement. One of the best AFC playoff-wins by the Pats IMO.

Brady prevented a lot of great QBs getting more rings.
