I doubted Grzelcyk would make the team last year and I’m not going to do that again. He’s got a lot of potential but it’s hard to guess what his ceiling is. 30-40 points doesn’t seem far fetched.

I think Grzelyck provides a hell of a lot more than a lot of people give him credit for.
Sure, I am a bit worried about the defensive side of our blue line. But there were numerous times last year where I saw Matt skate the puck out of the defensive zone and I thought "I don't think any other defenseman on our team could have done that". Maybe he won't stay in Boston forever, but it would be a shame to see him go away for nothing. I am pretty convinced at this point that he can be a real asset for plenty of NHL teams.
