Clarkson on the 2nd line? NO THANKS!

I don't think we should get too bogged down by which line is referred to as the #2 line and which one is the #3. But, I see a Jenner - Dubi - Clarkson line being a very hard line to play against.

I'm also still hopeful that Clarkson is going surprise a number of people this year.

#CBJ Mark Letestu is officially a UFA, but is still talking to Columbus. Don't think he'll sit on the market long.

Personally I think if he was coming back it would have been done by now

I don't know about that. With the UFA talking window, Letestu's already heard from any team interested in him. Chances are he already knows the dollars out there and wants us to get closer to them.

He'll give us a chance to match his best deal, guaranteed. If he signs elsewhere, its because we didn't.

This is true. depending on Saad,Calvert,& possible D there is only about 13 mill or so to go around.

Exactly. This is where having Clarkson for so long hurts us.

He got 3 years and goes back to his home Province. Gets to be teammates with McDavid and would be one of the veteran leaders. Wish him all the best.

Its okay. Letestu isn't the difference between us and the playoffs as much as I like him. We'll just need to pick up a player like him at the deadline if we are in position.
