Buffalo is an underrated market. Yes they do get plenty of overflow from Canada, but there is a big following in Buffalo and surrounding cities as well. Ticket prices are reasonable, and I think you will see even more demand if the hot start keeps up. They have been a bad team for a long time, and have still had support.

Buffalo seems high

Buffalo is one of the league's viewing audience leaders throughout the regular season and more so in the playoffs - even when the Sabres aren't in it.

...and being a river width away from Canuckistan, we also appreciate the influx of Loonies.

It's one of the reasons why we're the only franchise in the league that plays both Canadian and US national anthems every night regardless of who is playing.

The Niagara Frontier is a large market for both Sabres and Bills.
