This guy is such an idiot. Everything he says is the most obvious thing in the world.

Yesterday he said if John Tavares doesn't sign today it's likely he speaks to teams during the courting period... Oh really you don't say?

Bozak can certainly be a useful piece in the proper role, but I have a feeling he's going to get handily overpaid given the need for centres around the league.

Bonino (a bit worse player) got 4 x 4.1 last year. I'd be stunned if he gets under 4 million on a deal unless it's longer than 4 years.

I'm looking forward to seeing Bozak on a line without JVR, I've been waiting to see it for over 5 years...

Bozak is a good middle six C who can provide some scoring. Probably whoever loses out on JT will be hard and heavy on him. 5 x 4.5-5m

Bozak may be a bargain Center for a NHL team. He's a good player, with some limitations. But as a #2C or #3C. You get a good guy in the room, a faceoff man, and a decent playmaker. Also solid in shootouts. Don't under value these traits. He is a decent add if a team already has a solid core.

Meh he'll make a good 3rd/4th center somewhere. As long as they don't overpay it shouldn't be too bad.

I would expect under <5M per. Probably 4-5 years. It is actually not surprising there is strong interest in him as Dreger reports. I wonder would Rutherford reunite him with Kessel in Pittsburg and move Brassard instead?

I have a feeling VAN/MTL will give him the Bonino contract. Except he'll produce better since he'll be getting top offensive minutes.

Patrick Berglund is a better option for StL than Tyler Bozak. Both are decent enough defensively, but
Blues need scoring, and Berglund is a much better finisher. Bozak would be redundant, and swapping them out would be a downgrade in just about every measurable sense. And I say this in spite of desperately wanting to deal Berglund for just about anything we can get for him.

Bozak's gonna get that "Frans Nielsen money".

Nielsen had a strong year prior to UFA, bozak would've cashed in last summer, not this one. 2016-17 bozak had similar numbers to 2015-16 nielsen. I'd expect a contract similar to bonino of 4 x 4-4.5 million

I like Bozak. But at his age and to me looks like declining skills....he's 2 year 4.75m per year player.
But with the lack of UFA centre men available he probably gets a much sweeter deal from some team.
