Ya in Canada, just bought it brand new 4 months ago. I’ve done absolutely everything that everyone is suggesting. Weird.

I couldn't find a search function on my firestick, so i scrolled through every app to find it. This is what it looks like

Got this from CHL TV support, regarding some of the errors I was getting.....

I understand that you're having streaming issues with the OHL games. I'm here to help!
Please note that at this time, we are currently completing network tests during the CHL pre-season games to ensure a successful streaming experience for the 2021-2022 CHL regular season.
The 2021 Pre Season games are not included with your CHL TV subscription but everything will be up and running for the regular season.
Once the regular season starts and you'd still get any streaming errors, you can follow the suggested troubleshooting steps on our Help Center on this link.
It includes the minimum speed and device specifics that you must meet in order to run the stream smoothly, as well as few recommendations on what you can try to resolve the issue more quickly.
In addition, we have collected a few Help Center links that may help resolve your issue. Please click any of the links below depending on your concern:

I do have the search function but nothing pops up. The apps are all broken down by category. I’ve searched through sports multiple times, looking over every single app. Still nothing.

my one firestick had no issues finding the app, however the other one (cheaper model) cannot. I looked on Amazon site under my apps and devices and found the CHL app attached to my one firestick can click on itto see status and is ok but the but the other stick listed says

Roku is so much easier as it delivers the app to ALL roku devices once you download it

Yah maybe it has to do with the model of fire stick you have. For mine, it appears you need to have an android device to download it to first, then it will magically appear apparently. I've given up at this point. Will try to stream through the browser on my fire stick. It works well with streaming sites for NHL games, hopefully it will with the new CHL tv. If not, could always go retro with the lap top. Bummer.

Does anyone know if there’s a way to turn live scores off on the app or website? For those who can’t watch live and want to watch the game later at night, being able to turn scores off is key.

Stream quality is very good. Complaints are that I am unable to get video on the app on my android phone. Only audio which is weird. And I don't see how to turn off scores as mentioned above^.

Stream quality is great. Loving this. As the previous posts mentioned they really need to have a part of the settings where you can "hide scores" Lots of games I'll want to watch on demand from all three leagues and don't want to know the score everytime. They have to find a way to fix that.

Well I just signed up so hoping it is as good as most indicate on here. Had some bad experiences in the past with the "other" provider so almost anything is an improvement.

Well it kept buffering every minute or so for the first 10 minutes and then after that it settled in and worked fine. I'm assuming someone stopped playing online games down the line right about then and it had the space to make me happy.

So after a couple of weeks with this I find the feeds from Rogers are the ones that seem to have issues ( buffering, no audio, Dropped coverage or coverage reset). This happened twice with the Owen Sound coverage and last night with the Barrie coverage. I flipped over to the Flint game and the Petes game and watched both and had zero issues. Both in HD. So the Flint television Network and Cogeco feeds seem to be fine. Not sure what causes this but I'm going to pass this on.

I think you are on to something I watched two cogeco games from Windsor without issues but the LDN OS ( Rogers )game had audio loss issues a couple times.
The LDN OS from Bud Gardens was Rogers though and no issues with that one...

Greyhounds game from Barrie last night was ok, except for the stream error I got 30 seconds in. Couldn't restart the app, had to completely reboot the firestick. No issues after that, but it has happened before with this app, never with any other app.

Have you tried this with Shaw coverage or do you get that on a cable feed?

TBH haven't even checked Shaw cable to see if it's on. I jumped on the chl tv package in the preseason and haven't looked back.

Yep, the players looked like ants. I don't understand why the person in the control room is not telling the camera operators to zoom in more. It's hard the watch the game like that.
