good for him!

They have way too much love for Gaudreau though. Can't see him winning it. It's a tie between Stone and Ekblad on who deserves it the most IMO.

Love it, really hoping we win it, the more accomplishments we get the better the organization is looked upon.

So far the accomplishments of the organization are as follows.

2007 Eastern Conference Champions
2003 Presidents Trophy Champions
Four Time Division Champions (1999, 2001, 2003, 2006)
1996 Calder Memorial Trophy (Daniel Alfredsson)
2012 Norris Trophy (Erik Karlsson)
1999 and 2012 Jack Adams Award (Martin & Maclean)

Kind of have to feel bad for Forsberg. He was amazing in the 1st half of the season.

Congrats and good luck to Stone. I know some about Johnny Hockey, but nothing about Ekblad (except that he plays D), so what the 411 on him?

No reason Gaudreau should win it above Stone. Same number of points, and Stone was significantly better defensively.

I could see Ekblad taking the prize if the voters wanted to go defense.

18-year old defenceman with the mind of a 29-year old vet. Steady presence, great possession numbers. His claim will probably fall down to consistency + doing all he did at such a young age.

Correct me if im wrong but wasn't Ekblad sheltered?

Stone and Gaudreau were front line players.

Age has no factor for me.

Congrats Stone! :handclap:

I'd love to see him win, but it will be a very close race no matter who wins.

Too bad his Calder will be overshadowed by Karlsson's Norris.

On second thought, Karlsson's Norris will be overshadowed by Hammond's Hart :sarcasm:

I'm just happy he got nominated. That's already quite an accomplishment considering he came from way behind Forsberg in terms of buzz to get the nom. It'd be nice if he won it of course, but the recognition is very welcome.

Ekblad or Stone I guess will be the winner. Stone did everything Gaudreau did but more, especially defensively.

Ekblad didnt pk. Some people take issue with that.

Theres zero statistic reason to have Gaudreau win it over stone. All the stats favor stone.
