He would have been pushed to the number 6 guy when Severino comes back, but they still need a number 5 guy now and honestly maybe a 6 in September to limit their top guys innings, especially Nestor who has never pitched this much before

Also, it's nice to have guy like him around in case of injury

Truly horrific. Mozeliak’s worst, and that’s saying something considering he traded Sandy Alcantara and Randy Arozerena.

No Lopez or Rodon. I just flat out don't get it.
Yeah when the reports came out that they were in on Lopez and why they got the Montas deal done yesterday, rumors of concerns about Severino and concerns about Taillon and Cortes running out of gas. So they trade a starter and didn't acquire another. Strange indeed. On another note, CF was weakest position for defensive runs saved and they get a former gold glover and moves Judge back to RF.

Don't mind this. Montgomery is fine and Bader is what he is. Elite defender and great speed but barely average at the plate. And Carlson has been great in CF since he got hurt. Didn't give up a prospect either.

Edman moves to RF and hopefully DeJong can stay above the mendoza line now that he's back.
