Imagine Dragons are one of the better bands around now, so good for the NHL in getting them. Sting's good as well. Shaggy? Nice to see him find work after Scooby Doo. :sarcasm:

Sting and/or Shaggy , together or individual are 1000x better than that Imagine Dragons garbage so idk what you're complaining about.

Better then NIckelback, Cee Lo Green, and all the other **** the NHL has trotted out the past few years too.
I don't know why they bother at this point, tbh.

Washington.. just make Fugazi make a comeback and bring the noice for next game and you will win by default

Good call. Need some go-go too to represent DC proper. Get Trouble Funk out there to bring down the house with Hey, Fellas.

NHL like all sports league will do this at time.I want to see if they get the bad brains or some DC hardcore band to do it but no lets get with the boring adult contemporary on here.

Also Shaggy where has he been.

Imagine Dragons is a fairly relevant band these days, so I'm a bit surprised that the nhl got them. I would typically expect the nhl to find acts from yesteryear such as the shaggys and the stings.

Sejak doing the starting lineups also felt weird. I felt like buying a vowel. Buffer doing the intro in vegas was really cool though..... loved it.

The NHL mistakenly thinks faded and low-tier "celebrities" boost its legitimacy. Sell your product on the speed, skill, and physicality of the sport, not these silly side-shows.

This x100

They should hire A band like Chevelle, im sure they wont be as pricey as Sting and shaggy too

You guys realize that currently-popular bands are on summer tours already, right? They’re not just going to stop everything and rush to DC for a cameo on the NHL pregame show.

Flo-Rida could at least point to his record sales, but Kid Rock is not in a category with these guys.
Kid rock would never want to join a club that would have him!

It was a joke, but somewhat sad that you think that hack #1 flo-rida is a bigger draw than hack #2 kid rock.

Seriously? Flo-rida? Yikes!

He's no little John!

The NHL should troll the **** out of its fans and get Celine Dion to sing at Game 5.
And have Ryan reynolds do the interpretative dance in the suit.

Maybe the medival times crew could "kill" him with a sword or the trebuchet!

Like I said, Flo-Rida at least has the record sales to show for it. He’s slightly ahead of Van Halen and RHCP all time. And Sting/Police for that matter.
