Not sure of cap complications etc. however keeping this simple, who gets claimed (should GM decide to WAIVE one of the following).

Frederic (age 24)
2020/21 = 40 games, 5 pts, -8
2021/22 = 20 games, 4 pts, +1
$950 k year 1
$1.15 year 2

Kuhlman (age 26)
2020/21 = 20 games, 2 pts, -6
2021/22 = 18 games, 2 pts, 0
750k next 2 years

Blidh (age 26)
2020/21 = 1 game, 1 pt, -5
2021/22 = 12 games, 4 pts, +1
750k next 2 years

Frederic is most likely to get claimed, because he's been involved in some fairly well televised events and has a reputation. A GM looking to add certain element to their lineup might be interested in that. Highly doubt that anyone around the league cares about Blidh and Kuhlman.

@Blowfish has a hard-on for giving away Frederic so he wants to see if he's on an island. Most people here know that Frederic gets claimed over anyone due to his age, size, play style and position.

If Frederic clicks, he's a Top 9 center with a good shot and physicality. Not sure he'll ever really be an enforcing type presence but he has shown in Providence that he'll stand up for teammates and play a physical game. I don't understand why it's so inconsistent up here but that's a discussion for another thread.

This question is easy. You waive the 100 MPH (to nowhere) man, Karson Kuhlman. He'd be a good get for Providence if he clears and you're not losing much if he doesn’t.

I read this as who would I prefer be waived in the event that Steen remains with the big club- misunderstood the question/poll. In any event, I chose Kuhlman.

Edit: And my vote was somehow changed, is this a joke thread?

Claimed...

Frederic is the most likely to get claimed, but they won’t waive him.

It will be between Blidh and Kuhlman. Blidh has been more valuable this season, but he’s also injured a lot. Kuhlman is an affordable spare but we’re thinnest at RW at the NHL level...

I’d probably pick Kuhlman to be waived, because it opens the door for Studnicka, Senyshyn and Froden (all middle6 righties) to get called up.

this is it in a nutshell.
Having a hard time figuring out why its even a question/ poll to be honest.

it's honestly one of the easiest decisions this team has had to make in years. I like Kuhlman, but it's a no-brainer, especially when the guy you're making room for is just a better version of the guy you're waiving anyway.

Nobody will be waived

I would say DS makes a trade(s).... when that time comes

Steen doesnt have to go through waivers at the moment

Both Foligno and Nosek signings didnt make sense imo. Especially Nosek. Bruins have a crowded house at Providence with very little opportunity for movement, unless due to injury/covid protocol

Frederic is the obvious choice.

Brendan Lemieux was traded for a 4th rounder at his age 25 season. Both late 1st rounders. Frederic is two years younger and producers similarly. Frederic can also play both left wing and center.

He would be claimed in a second and would be awful asset mismanagement.
I mean, I don't need to remind anyone, but the last sentence... has kinda been the story during Sweeney's tenure.
