Exactly.....lots of great junior players turn out to the next Pavel Brendl.
I point this out only FYI.

Yes, I know it's only the SEL and not the NHL.
Brendl has failed in enough opportunites that he is a bust.
If he ever makes it back to the NHL and plays well, it qualifies as a hockey version of a resurrection. If he does, he wouldn't be the first player to resurrect their career in the SEL or another European league.
Brendl's Offensive game was never in question..it was his attrocious defence... if he makes it back to the NHL he either needs to do the job defensively..or play for a coach that will let him do what he wants and tell the rest of the team to play D like theyre killing a penalty lol (which just may work )
Does Valentenko belongs there? He was a late pick (5th), yet seemed a lock for the WJC at 18 YO...
He's 19 and until he comes over I couldn't call him anything. Alex Biega sure looks like a steal what a season he's having with Havard.
Hummm... in terms of "junior eligibility", is he considered a 18 or a 19 YO?
How can any player be picked as a steal? I would you will need to wait 3 years.
Perreault?
