Between Tanev and Stanton Van fans have a seriously weird obsession with bottom pairing defenders.

we're used to guys like Alberts/Rome/Barker on the bottom pair..

that said, I think Tanev and Stanton will both be solid top 4 defenders in the NHL eventually.

Stanton is really impressive.
