I'm looking at different media sources and I see some using Finals and some using Final. Which one is the official one - 'Stanley Cup Final' or 'Stanley Cup Finals'?

Finals refer to the series of final games. I think. Doesn't know.

Stanley cup final = the final of the finals, final of the tournament

The fact that the NBA calls it the Finals and is played simultaneously as our league's "Final" doesn't help.

People get used to the word finals. Hell even in high school and college we call final exams "finals".

Well if we're clearing it up, at this point it's Final. It's written on the ice.

But when I was growing up it was always Finals.
