Crosby is NOT significantly better defensively. Stamkos this year has been doing alot of the dirty work on his line, Playing good defence.

Sid has been bad defensively this year, floats alot but since new years he's Been better. Also playing with Sheary ain't helping..

Stamkos is one of the worst defensively among #1 Centers. Not sure if you've watched a single Lightning game this season...

I like Stamkos, but let's be honest here. Crosby is easily the better player and if Crosby was playing with Kucherov or a winger like him, he's an easy 110+ point player if not more. Crosby is much better and it really isn't even as close as it appears

Crosby. He does everything well and can beat you in so many different ways. Stamkos has some potent weapons but the toolbox isn’t nearly as complete as Sid’s.

Stamkos is dynamic when he has an elite player on his line. Crosby has done it with middle 6 wingers almost his entire career.

Huge fan of both, but this is clearly Sid.
