Doesn't appear to me that Nurse knows what to do with the puck in the offensive zone. He holds his own on the blueline, but anytime he meets and resistance on his rushes there doesn't seem to be any ability to overcome the pressure. I do not get the feeling he would have much for puck skills or deke-ing.

Exactly my feelings. With the puck in the D-zone he's unsure what to do (see Capitals games where he hesitated and made a bad pass)... I prefer he just rush it up and shoot it on net.

He is what he is. If he peaks as a reliable 2nd pairing D-man who puts up 30pts (25 apples) then I'll be happy.

I bet MPS would make a better D-man than Nurse a RW.
