Mixed feelings as I think he could of easily been a contributor to the fourth line going forwards, but happy to see him go somewhere he can slot in nicely and well a roll of the dice is always welcome

Can't complain given the current state of the roster. Would have been nice e to see him get more of a look this year, but a fourth round pick for a guy who has played three games is ok

How did we do this trade if Soshnikov is hurt? /s

Unfortunate for Soshnikov, but we’re just too stacked on the wing for him to play anywhere.

would have preferred dealing Leivo over Soshnikov as I believe Soshnikov can play a more versatile bottom-six role than Leivo. In any event, at least they got something for him - if he stays healthy, he'll be a solid NHL player.

I always appreciated Sosh, but something had to happen.

And technically free 4th, so can't complain.

well, I guess we bought a 4th rounder for money?

wasn't excited about his ceiling, but was never worried about him in the lineup either. Good for STL, hope he gets to play a bigger role there
