This has more to do about edmonton's fan base than how they have been playing. Setting the odds for a bet have more to do with creating even bets on each side of the bet than it has to do with what will likely happen.

I think our odds (and everyone else's) just got a bit better with the unfortunate Crosby injury. With Washington's record of playoff ineptitude, things got a little more wide open, with Pittsburgh being the prohibitive favourite (despite those posted odds). If we can just get by the Ducks.....
