Seems like Nico's going to return tomorrow but they'll probably keep Zacha up for the weekend, maybe get Boyle back after that.

That said, I still don't understand how he didn't bury that chance beneath the circles on the PP.

I was incredibly premature in freaking out about Zacha's first goal - the Flyers fans around me did not enjoy me standing up and blocking their vision of the save.

All good, though, because they can **** right off :D

A few players have credited Oates with extending their careers. Is it too early to send PZ to work with him?

Anything that will help him bury one of these chances already, guy has had some great opportunities to bang at least a few home this season and just can't get it done yet.

If and when he gets that first one, it could be the boost he needs, one could hope at least.

They called him up cause Nico and Boyle both got hurt, not because they wanted to.

They could've easily called up someone else and/or moved someone else over to center. I agree that they probably recalled him before they wanted to, but he's responded well - he's had a decent 2 games up here. I'll be surprised if they send him back there - I think Seney will be the guy to go down, he's played okay but his positioning in the D zone needs a lot of work.

Seney will stick. New Jersey is a better team with Seney in the line up

We were a defensive tire fire while Zacha was away. That isn’t all on him, but he helps (along with Nico).

He is going to score some points even by accident. His statline doesn’t match his level of play.

He wouldn’t be lighting the world on fire either, but I find it hard to understand how people think he deserves his current goose egg.

I don't think he deserves zero points, but at some point the production does actually have to materialize before I'm going to have confidence in him being more than just a good third line/PK center. Which is still a useful player of course, but not what we were hoping for.

After even a handful of games in Binghamton, the difference I noticed was palpable. I wonder if he'd look even more impressive if allowed to marinate longer in the AHL.

With him approaching his 160th game, it'll be very interesting to see what they do. I wouldn't be surprised to see Zacha sent back down for a bit, if Boyle and/or Hischier return promptly.
I'd let the Mojo Zacha Bratt line role for a little bit. Keep them on as the 2nd unit PP. If Zacha is still scoreless over the next 5 or so games, then send him back.

I'd rather we re-form the Kids & The Hall line that was so effective during the 1st half of the season last year.

Of Seney, Anderson, or Zacha, it's tough to decide which of the three to send down.

Anderson & Seney seem more useful offensively, but Zacha is clearly the best defensively.

My guess is, it's Seney who goes back to Binghamton, but if politics & draft position werent a factor, I'd probably send Zacha down were I in charge.

I'd probably send Seney down. Anderson has been better. Zacha looked really good in these last two games, which is a positive, considering he only looked really good for 2 of the first 10 games before he was sent down. With Zacha right now, I'm trying to give him a fresh start and reset approach. So instead of looking at it as 0 points in 12 games, I'm trying to look at it as 0 points in 2 games.
