I thought he played quite well when he was promoted up the lineup. Before the Galcheyuk trade he was looking like the best fit for the 2nd line

As a leaf fan I hope he does well. He wasn’t good enough to fit anywhere in our lineup. Dubas did him a solid by moving him somewhere he can get some minutes. San Jose could be a nice fit.

But that doesn't make sense. Suo-mela can be translated as "swamp paddle" (go figure) and that might have the methane gas connection you imply. But properly grammatically Suome-la would translate as (semantically ultimately) suomi-like, albeit we don't really know what the word "suomi" has originally meant. I've been wondering what could've happened if he was given the second line wing spot from the beginning instead of Vesey but that's ok, glad he's doing well with the Sharks

Happy he's doing well in SJ. By all accounts a hard working kid. Never complained. Was in a tough spot in T.O. with a lot of forward spots already spoken for.
