Buffalo got the better end of the trade still, hope O'Reagen becomes amazing for Buffalo. Eichel's old linemate in junior. Wonder what the conditions are on the picks.

Condition on first: if they re-sign him, it's a first. If they don't, it's a second. That's a fair deal

Real good from SJ. Might not even need to give up the first.

Hahahaha, what? They're contenders. But yeah, a meh team aquiring a troublemaker and a rental is a very good deal indeed. Your team isn't young exactly, might want to hold on to those picks..

DW has a poor track record on drafting first rounders between picks 20 and 30. So many busts.

I think it is to as a Buffalo fan. Lottry protected on the 1st, pretty standard now I would think. The 4th don't know yet.
But to get Eichel's other college linemate, very promising considering Rodriguez is turning in to a good NHL player. He owned the Bruins just last night.

Edit: I stand corrected, becomes a 2nd of he doesn't re-sign. So this Buffalo fan is now throwing his support behind San Jose!

Zero chance the pick becomes a 1st. The Sharks are not going to re-sign Kane, not with this condition attached with the pick now.
