Hill > Ned
Hill has been better at every stage of his career besides Ned’s hot streak of 23 games. SJ has had two recent, smaller goalies with average AHL careers that put up .930+ in their first season with 25 or so games and then sub .900 the next year.

Hill is a lot bigger and had better AHL numbers.

Ned also got to play in front of a great defensive team this year. Hill played in front of a terrible team that bled high danger chances against and still put up respectable numbers, which will be a similar situation when he gets to SJ.

I still think it was stupid, but I do think Hill is the better target
