Speculation: Should we be concerned Turris did NOT want to re-sign here?

Turris was coming off a longer term deal that he was signed to when he was a reclamation project. The team took risk to do that and it worked out.

Lots of guys get moved before they become UFAs and sign elsewhere. It's a business that requires cap juggling. The team juggled. They didn't do anything wrong. Had the team / PD reneged on an agreement then sure that destroys credibility but not even the Leafs media is suggesting that happened here.

The team made a hockey ops decision. No ill will, nothing dirty or sneaky or anything untoward

And it's not like we dumped Turris to some nothing team. We placed him in Nashville which went to the SCF this past spring. So he moved from a team that almost won the cup to another team that almost won the cup.

I'm sure there could be some hard feelings but it won't last for too long and I'm sure Turris appreciates we moved him early and to a good team that wanted him.
