Should Tkachev-Yakimov-Yakupov be our 4th line?

I voted no, but I'd like to go against the grain here a little bit.

I'd like to see a pre-season line up of

Hall-Nuge-Eberle
Pouliot-Drai-Perron
Tkachev-Yak2-Yak1
Hendricks-Gordon-Purcell/Pitlick

Let the three of them see what they can do.
If they do that then you know they are purposely setting Nail up for failure.

Maybe for one game. But they need to decide what they are going to do with Yakupov. If they are planning on, say, developing him and using his skills he needs to be in a top 6 role. He needs to play with his future line mates, if they start the season with him in low use role with inexperienced line mates then I say they are purposely ruining him. If they start him out with players he hasn't played with in a top 6 role they are setting him up to fail.

He needs to be playing with the line he'll be on this year, and within 2 games, and then until the start of the season.

Yakupov on the fourth line is poor asset management for a 1st overall pick.
Yakimov may one day be useful as a fourth liner but hopefully the third.
Tkachev is too small to play a fourth line role. He may be too small for the NHL.

So, no, definitely not.

I can't even comment on the OP's suggestion. All I can say, if you are my 8 year old nephew, get the hell off this site and go to bed, you little bugger!
