If we were a bunch of over the hill vets... sure, go trade a bunch away. That's what should've happened 5 or 6 years ago.

Now? With Price, Max, PK, Eller, Gallys? No.

- it's been 16 games, relax
- the concept of 'tanking' is fallacious. You can't exactly lose on purpose, unless you send all your best players in the press box.

They should plan on never making the playoffs again so they don't risk facing a hot goalie and losing in the 1st round.

The Oilers would never take such a gamble.

The last game barely counts, we clearly didn't care anymore and Price was out.

The other game sure they dominated I guess idk. We dominated game 1 and 2, Anderson was lights out game 1, and the loss of eller was killer. Game 4 we should have won if it weren't for a kicked in goal and some weird icing calls. Go ahead and believe the score boxes tho, they're always right.

Go ahead with your excuses if it makes you feel better, almost lost in 4 and you still find excuses. As I said, Habs had 2 good games but it wasnt enough.

Why the team didnt care anymore? Coach problem? I dont want another quick first round elimination. Humiliating performance is humiliating.

Tanking usually does not solve the problem, and besides, the French medial won't let you do that.

The team needs better management, but the French media limits those choices as well.

Agree with MXD also don't trade 2nds for rentals and let UFA walk for nothing anymore. Habs asset management was terrible in the '00s
